🦜 Sanctuary Update – Big Changes Ahead!

We have some exciting news to share… we received an offer on our home and have officially accepted it! We are now in the process of completing all necessary paperwork as we prepare for this new chapter and the building of our sanctuary.

As we transition into our new location, there are several important steps we must complete before resuming adoptions. This includes updating our address with the state and IRS, ensuring all licensing and nonprofit documentation is properly transferred, and working with our new town to meet all local requirements. Once everything is finalized, we will undergo a state inspection to ensure we are fully compliant and ready to move forward.

Because of this transition, we are temporarily pausing adoptions.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The good news — we are still accepting parrots in need and will continue our rescue efforts during this time. We are also continuing to accept adoption applications and related paperwork so we can be fully prepared once adoptions reopen.

This move is a huge step toward building the sanctuary these birds deserve, and we are so grateful for your patience and support as we work through the details. Your encouragement means more to us than you know.
